I'll be in manhattan for a few days staying at the marriott marquis near times square and doing business in the same vicinity.  Since my client doesny know about kosher restaurants, I need suggestions for the following places to eat:
(1) appropriate for professional lunch meeting with non-kosher people.  not too expensive but decent ambience.
(2) take-out or casual place for dinner on my own
(3) upscale (expensive ok) for dinner with client
Thankyou.

You're in luck. There's plenty to choose from in that area! Some ideas for you...

Professional lunch - Mr. Broadway (on the casual side), My Most Favorite Dessert (nice fish and pasta restaurant) or La Marais (French steakhouse).

Cheap dinner - Kosher Delight (meat) or Jerusalem 2 pizza (dairy)

Upscale client dinner - The Prime Grill or Solo

For an expensive but amazing meal, definitely go to La Carne Grill. You won't be disappointed.  It's run by the same guy who opened Solo and Prime Grill.

Le Marais is a good choice for lunch if you don't mind that it gets loud.  Try the pepper crusted steak.

New York's Diamond District is on 47th b/w 5th and 6th, not far from Times Sq.  It has a few casual kosher eateries... not nice enough to go on a business lunch... adequate on your own or for takeout.  On 46th or 47th you have Diamond Dairy, Dougies Express, Kosher Deluxe and Moishe's Falafel Stand.  Maybe a couple others I'm forgetting right now.

As someone else mentioned, you also have Le Marais and My Most Favorite Dessert in the same area, between 6th and Broadway.  MMFD actually has a little-known takeout cafe/counter for lunch with a couple indoor tables and plenty of outdoor seating.  The entrance is at the rear of the courtyard, to the left of the restaurant.  Plenty of salads, sandwiches, pasta, soup and pizza at very reasonable prices.  And the counter staff is very friendly.

The best place in the Diamond District is Taam Tov, by far.  It's sit-down, but it's a notch below business lunch standards if they're not old pals.

The best restaurant in which I got a good Kosher food is MENU - ERETZ KOSHER FOODS. They are providing good customer service with all the varieties of dishes and foods in a affordable price. For information Contact: (212) 665-0953
